Review Accounting Security

This page contains the university accounting security review documents for the Accounting Data Warehouse (ADW), Electronic Monthly Accounting Statements, Web Financials, and Labor Data.

The Financial Reporting Group  conducts an annual review to validate authorized access to accounting data. We are asking university authorizers to complete their unit's review by May 30, 2008.

At the bottom of this page are the authorized lists of individuals with access as of March 19, 2008.   To begin your review, select either "Review ADW Accounting Security" or "Review Web Financials Accounting Security" below, and select your unit's file from the list. The list can be printed or saved on your computer.

Carefully review each user's ADW, Electronic Monthly Statements, Web Financials, and Labor data access to confirm they have been assigned appropriate roles and accounts. 

If changes are needed to a user's ADW or Electronic Monthly Accounting Statements security, please submit an Account Security request through the Accounting Security  page.

If changes are needed to a user's Web Financials security, and you currently manage access for your unit, please make necessary changes.  If you currently do not manage Web Financials security, please email changes to WEBFINANCIALS-L@cornell.edu .

Once you have completed each review, and submitted and verified any necessary changes, please acknowledge completion of your reviews by selecting "Security Acknowledgement" below. Please print, sign, and send your completed acknowledgement(s) to Financial Reporting, 341 Pine Tree Road.
