View Surplus Asset Listing - CATS

We are pleased to announce the availability of the new Cornell Asset Transfer System (CATS).  This new tool will reduce trash and recycling expenses, and promote a "doing-more-with-less" attitude toward sustainability.

CATS replaces the capital asset surplus listing.  With this new system, you can post excess and scrap items online, and make them available to other units.  You can post and browse ads for available and wanted capital and non-capital items at Cornell, but personal items may not be posted on this system. 

All policies still apply, including those related to transferring and disposing capital assets. For information on asset policy and/or forms, see University Policy 3.9, Capital Assets .

 Note: Before capital asset items are posted, they will be routed automatically to the Capital Assets Department for review.
