Unrestricted Funds

This area is responsible for recording and monitoring the financial transactions for current fund assets, liabilities, and operating funds. Other responsibilities include the accounting and financial reporting of unrestricted accounts and related accounting activity; enterprise accounting activity; unrestricted asset and liability activity; inventory accounting (including audit of physical inventory counts); usage of transfer object codes; new account setup or changes; petty cash funds; and transactions with the Weill Cornell Medical College.

The Unrestricted Accounting area focuses on the following fund groups:

  • Current Fund Designated/Enterprise/Service Fund Balances (46X)
